A short update on The Sharing Tree’s activities over these last few months since our August Distribution Nights.
Three years ago our Board of Directors approved a Mid-YearTeacher School Supply Replenishment program. In January The Sharing Tree contacts the Principals of the Hudson and Somerset schools to introduce this program. We post fliers in their teacher lounges and provide the Principals an email to inform their educators that if they find themselves or their students short on supplies we would be happy to provide them with the school supplies they need. The teacher response is overwhelming. Since 2019 The Sharing Tree has donated $2,954 worth of school supplies during the Mid-Year Teacher School Supply Teacher Replenishment.
