Hello! It’s time, some may say it’s past time, for an update. Spring is almost here and
we at The Sharing Tree are gearing up for the 2022 Sharing Tree season. We want to
share some important dates with you:
Monday March 21st: From 5-8 p.m. at the Hudson Culver’s stop by for a bite to
eat. A portion of the evening’s profits benefit The Sharing Tree. Thank you
Culver’s and patrons!
May 1st-May 31st: Octagon House New School Supply Collection. Thanks to the
St. Croix County Historical Society for partnering with us. We will update our
school supply wish list here on our website soon.
May 1st: Online Registration opens.
July 31st: Online Registration closes.
Wednesday August 10th: 6:30-8 p.m.: Hudson and Somerset Drive Through
Distribution Night the Hudson branch of WESTconsin Credit Union.
We are currently in the midst of the Mid Year Teacher School Supply Replenishment.
This is our 4th year offering to replenish Hudson and Somerset educators and/or their
students with school supplies they may be low on or out of. To date we have donated
approximately $4,350 in supply value. We started this initiative because the last thing
we want is to have teachers use their hard earned dollars on classroom supplies. And
we all know they do.
We want to thank the Hudson and Somerset community for your continued support.
The Bees Knees in downtown Hudson just held a Crayola brand marker drive and we
have several partners who sponsor new school supply collection bins for us during our 2
week collection period in July. Check our website later for information on this summer’s
dates and drop off locations. The Sharing Tree is still here because of the incredible
support of local individuals, charitable foundations, retail partners, the annual Jen and
Kirk Marty Holiday Party, WESTconsin Credit Union, and our amazing volunteers. Thank
you for supporting us and our Hudson and Somerset youth, education changes
everything.
