Backpack Stuffing Night and Distribution Night a Success once again!

Just wanted to say thank you to all those who volunteered their time to help serve the Hudson School District Students and their families.  Amid all the craziness on Backpack Stuffing Night and getting ready for Distribution Night, we always remember that it is for the students.  Everyone should be allowed to have the tools to learn and if you have kids you know that school supplies are not cheap.  That is why we do what we do.

 

We love watching the kids pick out their back packs and collect their supplies.  There's nothing like starting another school year with new supplies and the tools needed to learn.

Last collection day!

FYI:  Friday Aug. 12th is the last day you have to drop off school supplies for The Sharing Tree.  Valley Services at 403 Vine Street will accept them until 3 p.m.

We thank everyone who has donated the supplies that will be distributed to 180+ Hudson students next week.  Thank you all so very much.

New school supply collection location!

Chapter 2 Books at 422 2nd St., Hudson is now another drop off point for school supplies.  It is on main street next to Schuster's Music.  Stop in and see our new bookstore; so good to have Chapter 2 Books here.

Sharing Tree returns for 2011-2012 school year

The Sharing Tree of Hudson is returning for the 2011-2012 school year. Sharing Tree helps provide school supplies to students in need, in grades K-12 in the Hudson School District.

Registration materials are available at the Christian Cupboard food shelf at St. Patrick Catholic Church and online at our website: www.thesharingtree.org. All necessary instructions are included in the registration materials. Applications must be returned no later than Friday August 5th, 2011.
