Thank you!

A big thank to the Hudson Hot Air Affair cmte., WESTconsin Credit Union, our volunteers, to the local businesses who donated either silent auction or raffle items, and to all of the attendees to the Taste of the Flyway Wine, Spirit, and Beer Tasting event.  Due to the generosity of the above, The Sharing Tree earned $1,400+ to purchase school supplies this coming season.  The Sharing Tree team sincerely appreciates Hudson's continuing support that allows us to serve our most valuable resource: our youth.

BPSN (BackPack Stuffing Night) & DN Recap!

On Monday August 12, 2013, 33 community volunteers and 15 Sharing Tree team members bundled the supplies for 239 Hudson, WI students in need at the Hudson branch of WESTconsin credit union.  The time and talent these individuals donated made it possible for the students to arrive on the first day of school ready to learn.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

On Thursday the students and their families arrived to collect their bundles and choose their backpacks.  This evening is the culmination of The Sharing Tree's efforts and well worth it: smiles, gratitude, and relief all around.

Thank you to everyone who has played any part in making this program succeed.  We sincerely appreciate your gift of time, talent, financial, or otherwise.

Thank you Joe To Go!

Harriet Walker-Ryan, owner of the delicious Joe To Go coffee shop, or as I so affectionately call it, Harriet's Happy Hut, has chosen The Sharing Tree as this months recipient of the suspended coffee funds!  Thank you to Harriet and all Joe to Go'ers, we sincerely appreciate it.
